WordPress plugin deals for Black Friday, checked against the standing price rather than the list price the sale banner compares itself to.

xSpeed Cache: 50% OFF launch pricing

I ran xSpeed on a live store for this review. Launch pricing is half the list price on every plan, and the Lifetime licence is the one I would take: Personal at $79 once costs less than three years of the yearly plan.

Personal, 1 site, yearly$58 $29/yr
Business, 5 sites, yearly$98 $49/yr
Personal, 1 site, lifetime$158 $79
Business, 5 sites, lifetime$298 $149

xSpeed runs this as a founding customer offer for the first 6 months after launch. I recheck the price every week.

Duplicator: Up to 60% OFF Halloween sale

Duplicator Pro is on its Halloween sale until Friday night, US time. Pro at $159.60 is the plan I would pick because it covers 20 sites and adds Media Cleanup, but these are first year prices and the renewal goes back to the full rate.

Basic, 2 sites$99 $69.30/yr
Plus, 5 sites$199 $99.50/yr
Pro, 20 sites$399 $159.60/yr
Elite Bundle, 100 sites$599 $239.60/yr

Ends 31 Oct 2026

Every roundup you will read in September lists dozens of discounts as though they are live. They are not. Almost nothing is discounted yet, so this page separates what I have checked today from what each plugin has discounted in past years. The historical numbers are a guide to what to expect, not a promise.

Verified Live Today, 28 October 2026

I checked each vendor's own pricing page this morning. Two of the four plugins I cover in depth have a discount running right now, and one of them I have stopped recommending.

What Other Plugins Have Discounted Before

Read This Before the Table

The percentages below are what these plugins discounted in previous Black Friday sales. None of them are confirmed for 2026, and several vendors have cut their rates in recent years. WPvivid went from 40% to 20% between 2024 and 2025, so treat the numbers as a ceiling rather than an expectation.

I will update this page with verified 2026 figures as each sale opens. If a number here is not marked verified, assume it is history.

How to Save Money in the Sales

  1. Write your list before November. Black Friday is designed to make you buy things you had not planned to. Decide what you need now, then only buy from that list.
  2. Check the renewal price, not just the first year. Most WordPress plugins discount year one only. A 60% discount on a tool that renews at full price is a one year saving, not a permanent one.
  3. Prefer lifetime licences where they exist. WPvivid is the main backup plugin still offering them, from $99 once against $49 a year.
  4. Buy the tier you need, not the discounted one. The most common waste is paying for 50 site licences because the percentage looked bigger. That is a lot of spare keys for one blog.
  5. Use the refund window. Most plugins offer 14 to 30 days, so an early purchase can usually be re-bought if the sale turns out deeper.
  6. Ignore stacked claims. If a site advertises a secret extra code on top of a public sale, it is almost always the same public discount.

WordPress Black Friday Deals, Frequently Asked Questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Friday 27 November 2026, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. Most WordPress plugin and theme sales open two or three days early and run through Cyber Monday night, so the practical window is roughly 24 to 30 November.

Are any WordPress plugin deals live right now?

As of 28 October 2026, a few. WPvivid has 20% off every yearly plan, Duplicator has a standing discount of 30% to 50% depending on tier, and Rank Math runs a partner offer that doubles plan limits. UpdraftPlus has nothing running, and I am not recommending it after TeamUpdraft's October 2026 breach.

Which WordPress plugin gives the biggest Black Friday discount?

Of the ones I track properly, Duplicator, which has gone to 65% off its Elite plan. It scales the discount by tier, so the cheaper plans see closer to 50%. Most other plugins sit between 20% and 40%.

Do plugin Black Friday discounts apply to renewals?

Almost never. The sale price nearly always covers the first year only, and renewals bill at the standard rate. This is the single most common thing people miss, so check the renewal figure before buying a multi year tool.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday to buy a plugin?

Usually yes, if the sale is more than a few weeks away and the plugin is not urgent. The exception is anything already discounted, such as Duplicator Basic, where the standing rate and the sale rate land in roughly the same place.

Do I need a coupon code for these deals?

Rarely. Most WordPress plugin sales apply automatically on the pricing page. Rank Math, Duplicator and UpdraftPlus all discount without a code. WPvivid has used codes in some years, but its current 20% applies on its pricing page without one.

Are lifetime plugin deals worth buying?

If you know you will keep using the plugin, yes, since most lifetime licences cost about two years of the subscription. The risk is that lifetime means the lifetime of the product, so weigh how established the company is before committing.

How do I know a Black Friday discount is real?

Check the vendor's own pricing page rather than a deal site. Recycled percentages from previous years are extremely common in this niche, and several sites still advertise 2024 rates as current. If the vendor's page does not show the discount, it is not running.
